Settling in...

The first couple nights in Lucca, I went down into the wall to experience the local restaurants... but found that it was even more fun to raid the local markets and make my own food at home... I'm not sure if my cooking skills have improved or it's just the simple fact that you can't mess any dish up due to the quality ingredients found here.
 However, I'm going to go ahead and claim that I've become a 5 star chef overnight. ;)
 Penne pasta, roasted red peppers, turkey breast, goat cheese and as always, olive oil and parmesan.
 After making a delicious dinner at home, Tay and I walked up to the church 100 meters up the street from our house, to watch the sunset over Lucca. Perfect way to end the day.... 


 Late night snack. Homemade Spinach Burgers! Sounds a little disgusting I know, but they were incredible and healthy to boot.
